Geneva airport is located approximately 4 kilometers from the city is easily reachable by many sources of public transport, including, train, bus, taxi or shuttle. A Train ride from the Airport to the central railway station in Gare Cornavin takes only 6 minutes which means you can utilize this route to connect to other stops. Busses also allow you to reach the station in about 20 minutes. There are numerous Car Rental companies also operating at the airport.

AT the Geneva airport you can utilize the facilities of public transport and reach different stops in low cost. A free ticket is available at the airport and is called a Unireso ticket. You can claim it for 80 minutes to use the public transport at Zone 10.
A regular unireso zone 10 ticket allows passengers to arrive or depart from the airport. It costs only CHF 3.50. You can use this ticket to travel with train, tram, bus and even boat.

Train departures from the airport to the Gare Cornavin Railway Station in every 12 to 20 minutes. It takes only 6 minutes to reach there and from the railway you can start your journey to various places in the city.

Busses

Geneva airport is well connected to numerous city busses that connect to the Geneva stop every 9 to 15 minutes. The busses have different routes for the passengers. Bus number 5 and 10 will drive you to Bel Air or Gare Routiere train station in just 12 to 18 minutes. Bus 23 will take you to Lingon, Grand, ancy and ZIPLO from the airport. Bus 28 will help you travel to Parfumerie, Vernier, Grand, Saconnex, Nations, Jardin, and Botanique. The bus stop is located directly in front of the Airport terminal form where you can find the tickets easily.
